VISIT FINCA LA CIGUAYA
“Finca La Ciguaya” is a family settlement and demonstration centre where we are cultivating an edible forest with the intention of achieving for us and the surrounding community a model of food sovereignty, ecological restoration and community buldings. Here you can taste exotic tropical fruits and learn about life in the countryside from an alternative, decolonised, Permaculture-based perspective.
This 2 – 2.5 hour experience will immerse you into local living and guide you through a lush food forest with a variety of fruit trees, native trees, medicinal plants and wildlife. You will learn about natural construction and how to cultivate healthy ecologies and abundant production through the implementation of regenerative socio-cultural practices.
After the tour you can head down to the hidden treasure in Rincon Bay ¨Playa Colorada¨ which is only a 5-minute drive from the farm. It’s a bit of a bumpy road, so make sure you have a vehicle that is prepared for it!

To ensure a comfortable learning experience, our guided walks are limited to 10 people at a time. Other groups may join you on your tour.
