Learn with Quisqueya Permacultura
Quisqueya Permacultura is proud to have worked closely and collaborated with individuals, families, communities, universities and other organisations and groups around the world since 2014. Today, as a result of our efforts, we are very grateful to have Finca La Ciguaya.
Our farm is a family settlement and demonstration centre where we are cultivating an edible forest with the intention of achieving for us and the surrounding community a model of food sovereignty, ecological restoration and community co-construction using regenerative practices. Here you can taste exotic tropical fruits and learn about life in the countryside from an alternative, decolonised, Permaculture-based perspective.
We invite you to use it as a lively and dynamic classroom to develop visits and research projects. Visiting groups will be able to create a unique resume as part of their studies in a wide range of subjects including:
